KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH, just Lys-Pro-Val, described in the literature as a potent gut and systemic anti-inflammatory. Preclinical work has it binding MC1R and MC3R to suppress NF-kB, IL-6, and TNF-alpha while supporting gut barrier integrity. Human RCT data do not exist yet; the evidence base is preclinical only.
