BPC-157 is the best-known tissue-repair peptide in research use, studied in tendon, muscle, ligament and gut-lining models. What draws researchers is that it appears to work several repair levers at once: new blood-vessel growth through VEGF, the GH receptor on tendon fibroblasts, nitric-oxide signaling, and suppression of NF-kB inflammation signaling. The human record is still thin, which is exactly why the preclinical work keeps getting revisited.
